,,ЕВРОПЕИЗАЦИЈА” КОЛЕКТИВНОГ СЕЋАЊА: СЕЋАЊЕ НА ДРУГИ СВЕТСКИ РАТ У ПРОШИРЕНОЈ ЕВРОПСКОЈ УНИЈИ

Сажетак

Иако се процес изградње колективних сећања најчешће смешта у оквире домаћих ,,арена сећања”, најдинамичнија препакивања историјских наратива у протеклој деценији се нису одвијала унутар државних граница, већ на нивоу политике сећања Европске уније (ЕУ). Далеко најважнију, па и парадигматску промену у политици сећања ЕУ представља растућа институционализација и промоција тзв. политике антитоалитаризма, засноване на повлачењу својеврсног знака једнакости између нацистичких, фашистичких и комунистичких злочина. Циљ овог рада је да укаже на ову промену, те да истражи иницијалне последице овакве ,,европеизације” колективних сећања држава чланица везаних за Други светски рат и тоталитаризме који су обележили ратни и послератни период. Основна теза овог рада је да тежња ка изградњи паневропског историјског наратива о Другом светском рату није само неодржива, већ и потенцијално опасна. Да би постала универзална и била усвојена, норма антитоталитаризма је морала да буде ,,денационализована” и очишћена од партикуларних историјских контекста. Са друге стране, да би била примењена у сваком појединачном друштву, она мора да буде изнова реконтекстуализована. Управо вакуум који настаје оваквом деконтекстуализацијом и реконтекстуализацијом колективних сећања отвара простор за злоупотребу европске политике антитоталитаризма од стране ревизионистички расположених националних политичких елита, и то неретко у сврхе дијаметрално супротне оснивачким циљевима Уније. Емпиријску потврду ове тезе рад пружа кроз анализу случаја Хрватске, показујући како хрватске политичке елите успевају да ову политику искористе или као легитимацијску основу или као накнадно оправдање домаћих ревизионистичких тенденција које иду у правцу релативизације хрватске фашистичке прошлости.
