ПОЛИТИКА ЈЕДНОГ ДЕТЕТА И ЊЕНЕ ПОСЛЕДИЦЕ: АЗИЈА И БАЛКАН

Сажетак

Политика једног детета први пут се у оквиру законских регулатива појавила у НР Кини 1979. године. У складу са увреженим веровањима по кинеској традицији, породице са мушким наследником сматране су угледнијим и просперитетнијим од породица са женским наследником. Како је велики број породица желео да осигура себи мушког наследника, а истовремено да избегну казне због прекорачења дозвољеног броја деце, родитељи су се одлучивали на разне методе: од селективних абортуса, до сакривања рођења женске деце, која су трпела злостављање, изгладњавање и често сурово убијана. Задржаћемо се посебно на феномену селективних абортуса, који није карактеристичан само за Кину, него и за већи део Азије, а стигао је и на Балкан. Рад који се налази пред читаоцима не представља огледало ставова ProLife или ProChoice, када су у питању абортуси. Овај рад представља објективан, мултидисциплинарни поглед на феномен селективних абортуса, који се појавио прво у НР Кини, као последица увођења „политике једног детета”, а потом и у Индији, арапском свету, а последње две деценије се практикује и у одређеним државама Балкана (Албанија, Северна Македонија, Црна Гора). Разлози за тзв. преференцију синова су различити: систем вредности, васпитање, социо-економски разлози. Међутим, последице таквог чињења су несагледиве, будући да се ремети природни демографски баланс између броја припадника мушког и женског пола.
