ПОЛИТИЧКИ ДИСКУРС О СРБИЈИ У ИЗВЕШТАВАЊУ ВОДЕЋИХ ЗАПАДНИХ МЕДИЈА

Сажетак

Анализа политичког дискурса представља комплексан процес који комбинује више друштвених дисциплина, подразумевајући детаљно познавање политичких токова и ставова. Дискурс у том смислу открива перцепције о теми као и историјски контекст у коме су оне настале. Овај рад је истражио актуелни политички дискурс западних земаља о Србији конструисан кроз објављене чланке на порталима одабраних западних медија у периоду од почетка актуелног Украјинског конфликта до маја 2024. године, значајном због турбуленција на међународној политичкој сцени. Квалитативном анализом текстова у областима политике и криминалитета испитан је наратив који се посредством њих конструише и развија, изрази коришћени за описивање земље, њених званичника и грађана, као и реализована конотација. Квантитативном методом су добијени статистички подаци о дистрибуцији тема и ставу објављених чланака. Установљено је да је са актуализовањем негативног значења које је везивано за појам Балкана дискурс о Србији креиран још деведесетих година, а земља постала предмет балканизма, нацификације и демонизације. Срби су представљени као ултимативни кривац балканских сукоба који идеолошки и вредносно нису део Европе. У сврху промоције негативног дискурса и постизања циљева као што је признање Косова и прихватање одговорности за конфликте укључујући и геноцид, западни медији су бирали сензационалистичке теме као што су однос са Косовом и утицај Русије на Србију па је држава представљена као аутократска, националистичка и непопустљива.
