УЈЕДИЊЕНО КРАЉЕВСТВО ИЗМЕЂУ ШКОТСКОГ И ЕВРОПСКОГ РЕФЕРЕНДУМА

Сажетак

Циљ овога рада је да анализира последице референдума о независности Шкотске 2014. и изласку/останку УК у ЕУ из 2016. на будућу политичку и конституционалну структуру УК. У овој анализи биће речи о томе како су британски конституционалисти покушали да реше eнглеско питање у УК кроз принцип енглески гласови за енглеске законе а шкотско кроз закон о деволуцији. У другом делу анализе биће речи о односу између УК и ЕУ. У овом, најобимнијем делу студије, анализираћемо узроке који су довели до расписивања референдума, говорићемо о томе како је текла кампања за излазак–останак УК у ЕУ, о аргументима једног и другог блока и на крају анализираћемо разлоге победе Брегзита.

У истраживању смо користили релевантну и актуелну страну али и домаћу научну и стручну литературу у вези са темом рада. Користили смо се триангулацијом извора података па смо тако критички проматрали како научну литературу, тако и медијске чланке, али и истраживања јавног мњења у вези са расположењем јавног мњења око шкотског и ЕУ референдума.

На победу Брегзита пресудно су утицали драматичан пораст броја миграната у УК у последњих десетак година, поделе унутар Конзервативне партије, лоше вођена кампања оних који су се залагали за останак УК у ЕУ и све израженије неповерење бирача према политичкој класи и владајућем естаблишменту.

Након изласка УК из ЕУ влади у Лондону биће потребно пуно напора да у догледној будућности задржи Северну Ирску и Шкотску у УК. Изласком из ЕУ, УК се определило за самостално деловање на међународној економској и политичкој сцени у времену када се већина других земаља света све више повезују. Време пред нама показаће како ће се УК, у својим новим оквирима, изборити са свим овим унутрашњим и спољнополитичким изазовима.
