Сажетак

У овом чланку аутор прати вишедеценијске геостратегијске напоре Сједињених држава у обезбеђивању своје кључне улоге на овом простору. Од Тршћанске кризе и Хладног рата, преко доба интензивног помагања Титовој држави угроженој од Совјетског савеза, па до Осамдесетих, када почињу америчке активности за разарање социјализма у Европи, Сједињене државе су на простору Југоистока Еврспе увек биле prime mover. И данас кључно утичу на геополитичке перспективе Србије и околних малих народа, као што су и главни кривац за разарање југословенске федерације.
