UJEDINJENO KRALJEVSTVO IZMEĐU ŠKOTSKOG I EVROPSKOG REFERENDUMA

Sažetak

Cilj ovoga rada je da analizira posledice referenduma o nezavisnosti Škotske 2014. i izlasku/ostanku UK u EU iz 2016. na buduću političku i konstitucionalnu strukturu UK. U ovoj analizi biće reči o tome kako su britanski konstitucionalisti pokušali da reše englesko pitanje u UK kroz princip engleski glasovi za engleske zakone a škotsko kroz zakon o devoluciji. U drugom delu analize biće reči o odnosu između UK i EU. U ovom, najobimnijem delu studije, analiziraćemo uzroke koji su doveli do raspisivanja referenduma, govorićemo o tome kako je tekla kampanja za izlazak–ostanak UK u EU, o argumentima jednog i drugog bloka i na kraju analiziraćemo razloge pobede Bregzita.

U istraživanju smo koristili relevantnu i aktuelnu stranu ali i domaću naučnu i stručnu literaturu u vezi sa temom rada. Koristili smo se triangulacijom izvora podataka pa smo tako kritički promatrali kako naučnu literaturu, tako i medijske članke, ali i istraživanja javnog mnjenja u vezi sa raspoloženjem javnog mnjenja oko škotskog i EU referenduma.

Na pobedu Bregzita presudno su uticali dramatičan porast broja migranata u UK u poslednjih desetak godina, podele unutar Konzervativne partije, loše vođena kampanja onih koji su se zalagali za ostanak UK u EU i sve izraženije nepoverenje birača prema političkoj klasi i vladajućem establišmentu.

Nakon izlaska UK iz EU vladi u Londonu biće potrebno puno napora da u doglednoj budućnosti zadrži Severnu Irsku i Škotsku u UK. Izlaskom iz EU, UK se opredelilo za samostalno delovanje na međunarodnoj ekonomskoj i političkoj sceni u vremenu kada se većina drugih zemalja sveta sve više povezuju. Vreme pred nama pokazaće kako će se UK, u svojim novim okvirima, izboriti sa svim ovim unutrašnjim i spoljnopolitičkim izazovima.
