ЈЕДАН, ДВА ИЛИ ВИШЕ ИМПЕРИЈАЛИЗАМА?

Сажетак

У раду се проблематизује разумевање појма империјализма у актуелној конјунктури коју битно одређује „Украјинска криза”. Посебно се критикује позиција неких од водећих левичарских интелектуалаца уз тврдњу да изостављају значење које је империјализам имао у класичној марксистичкој теорији, као и структурне неједнаке односе моћи и неједнак друштвено-економски развој који карактерише савремени светски капиталистички систем. У раду се користи дедуктивни метод. Критиком позиција левичарских интелектуалаца који појам империјализма не користе на довољно јасан начин, нити према значењу које империјализам има у марксистичкој и светско-системској теорији, настоји се започети шира теоријска дебата о томе шта би појам империјализма требало да значи у савременим (гео)политичким околностима. У том контексту се примарно разматра позиција Кине у светском систему, а која је у овом раду представљена као земља полупериферије која није империјалистичка и која нема пројекат нове глобалне хегемоније, већ своју полупериферну позицију користи за јачање сопствене регионалне стратегије. Закључује се да тренутно постоји само један империјализам као фаза у развоју капитализма и једини глобални хегемони пројекат под вођством САД.
