Lecture by Professor James Liu

The Institute for Political Studies, in cooperation with colleagues from the Faculty of Philosophy аt BU, had the honor of organising a lecture by Professor James Liu on the topic of collective memory.
The lecture pointed out the importance of historical interpretations for both the nation, and its members.
Emphasis was placed on the need for a multidisciplinary approach to collective memories that would take into account the political, psychological, sociological, as well as ethical consequences of advocating a particular interpretation of the past.
